Meet Our Member: Mo Brazier, Founder of Snug Aromatics

At Yorkshire Ladies Links, we love celebrating the incredible women behind Yorkshire businesses, and this month we are delighted to introduce our member, Mo Brazier, founder of Snug Aromatics.
Over the last few years, Mo has become a valued supporter of Yorkshire Ladies Links, regularly attending our networking events, conferences, charity lunches and shopping events. She has built some fantastic business relationships through our community, with many of those connections helping to support the next stage of her business. We are also delighted that Mo will be exhibiting at our 2027 Yorkshire Ladies Links Conference, where delegates will have the opportunity to discover her beautiful range of aromatherapy wellbeing products.
Mo's business journey is a truly inspiring one.
Huddersfield born and bred, Mo has over 25 years of experience as an aromatherapist and started Snug Aromatics around nine years ago from her kitchen table while working in a demanding corporate role. Looking for ways to manage everyday stress and improve wellbeing, she began creating aromatherapy products for herself and her family. Before long, family and friends were asking her to make more, and what started as a hobby quickly grew into a successful business.
As demand increased, Mo moved the business from her kitchen table to a studio at the top of her garden. She soon outgrew that space too and moved into larger premises, where she now employs a small team. Today, Snug Aromatics continues to go from strength to strength.
Opening a shop had always been a dream for Mo, and she recently made that dream a reality with the opening of her first high street store in Lindley Village, Huddersfield. The official ribbon was cut by broadcaster Christa Ackroyd, who is a huge fan of the Snug Aromatics brand and its beautiful products.
The new premises have been designed to offer so much more than a shopping experience. From the moment you walk through the door, you are welcomed by beautiful aromas carefully blended to deliver therapeutic benefits. Customers can browse the full Snug range, refill selected products to help reduce plastic waste, or simply take a moment to pause in the shop's quiet seating area. Dogs are also warmly welcomed, with water bowls and treats always available.
Every Snug Aromatics product is handmade on site using Mo's own unique aromatherapy blends. What began with just four candle fragrances has grown into an extensive collection including home fragrance, bath and body products, dog grooming products and an eco cleaning range, now available across twelve signature scents.
Mo's philosophy has always been to do things differently. Rather than encouraging customers to shop quickly, she takes time to understand exactly what they are looking for. Whether someone needs help improving sleep, boosting concentration, lifting their mood or simply enjoying a little self care, Mo believes every customer deserves products that are right for their individual needs.
The quality of Snug Aromatics has seen the brand grow far beyond Yorkshire.
Today, the products can be found in homes, independent retailers and luxury hotels across the UK. One of Mo's longest standing customers is Grantley Hall, which has stocked Snug Aromatics products since opening seven years ago. The brand has also featured in the Channel 5 series The Poshest Hotel in Yorkshire and works closely with established Lindley businesses including Erics and The Manor House.
We are incredibly proud to have Mo as part of the Yorkshire Ladies Links community. Watching her journey from creating products at her kitchen table to opening her very own high street shop is a wonderful reminder of what passion, determination and the support of a strong business network can achieve. We look forward to continuing to support Mo and welcoming her as one of our exhibitors at the Yorkshire Ladies Links Conference 2027.
