Meet Directors James Taylor & Michael Goldstone from Headline Sponsor The Dentist at the Be Inspired Conference
James Taylor qualified in 1996 in Newcastle and became a senior house officer in restorative dentistry at Leeds Dental Hospital in 1998, where he also completed his MFDS Royal College of Surgeons examinations.
His orthodontic training and clinical attachment at Pinderfields Hospital increased his scope further, allowing combined treatment options for patients.
Having passed the British Academy Of Restorative Dentistry (Bard) exams in aesthetics and restorative dentistry, James also continues to complete further training in the USA and Europe in advanced and complex restorative & cosmetic dentistry, dental implant and soft tissue surgery.
He is currently undertaking a Masters in Orthodontic and offers all types of orthodontics, including, Invisalign, cosmetic and lingual orthodontics. More recently, James has evolved his work to include ‘Same Day Digital’ and 3D CAD CAM dentistry for general, cosmetic and implant rehabilitation.
James believes in a good work-life balance. He has a wonderful family including his wife Katie, his three daughters and his dogs Shadow and Hudson. This family support allows James to give his all to the practice and allows him time to switch off and pursue his hobbies of endurance cycling, golf and travelling.
Mike and James have worked successfully together for 15 years and are excited to now offer ‘Great Care with No Limits’ in their new purpose built facility, helping patients of all ages, needs, and backgrounds to have the confident smile everyone wishes for.

After qualifying in 2004 from Leeds University, Michael worked in the Oral Surgery department of Pinderfields Hopsital, Wakefield. Michael and James embarked on Implant Dentistry training in America in 2006 and formed a bond that led to the formation of James Michael Dentistry in 2008.
Michael has completed the Royal College of Surgeons MFDS diploma, as well as postgraduate certificate years in; Implant Dentistry, in Restorative Dentistry and in Cosmetic Dentistry. International training has required trips to America, Brazil, Spain, Germany and Austria, much to Michaels disappointment!!
He strives to be the best he can in his professional life and enjoys difficult and challenging cases having carried out advanced Implant and Cosmetic dentistry for over a decade. He particularly enjoys cases that directly change a person’s life through improving their self-esteem and ability to chew comfortably and confidently. His main focuses are around digital dentistry and ‘same day implant dentistry’.
Michael is married with 2 girls. He is a keen runner boasting completion of all of the 6 world marathon major races - New York, Boston, Chicago, Tokyo, Berlin & London.
Michael is beyond excited to be starting ‘the dentist’ with James. They finally have the facility and equipment to perform at the very best level, providing a no-compromise standard of excellent dental care (Great Care, No Limits).
