Meet Our Member: Fay Cartlidge, Daisy First Aid

We’re delighted to introduce Fay Cartlidge, the face behind Daisy First Aid Leeds, Harrogate, Ripon, Ilkley and Baildon, who joined Yorkshire Ladies Links earlier this year.
Fay took over the Daisy First Aid franchise in 2024 and has since grown her territory to cover even more communities across Yorkshire. With a background in teaching and a desire to build a career that worked around family life, becoming a First Aid Trainer was a natural next step.
Her passion for first aid also comes from real life experience. Fay has volunteered as a Community First Responder, giving her first hand experience of emergency situations and reinforcing just how important it is for everyone to have the confidence and skills to help when it matters most.
As Fay says, you’re most likely to perform CPR on someone you love. Having the knowledge and confidence to respond in those crucial moments really can make a difference.
First Aid for all ages
Daisy First Aid provides engaging, accessible first aid training for everyone, from children as young as four through to adults.
One of Fay’s most popular courses is the two hour Baby & Child First Aid class, designed specifically for parents, grandparents and carers. The course helps participants feel more confident responding calmly in an emergency, recognising signs of illness and knowing when to seek medical help.
Fay also delivers training in workplaces, schools, nurseries and public venues, as well as offering bespoke private sessions for families and groups.
Since joining Yorkshire Ladies Links earlier this year, Fay has already been getting involved in our events. She recently attended our Yorkshire Ladies Links Padel event, where she had the opportunity to meet and connect with many of our members.
She’s also planning to attend several of our upcoming events, giving her even more opportunities to build relationships and get to know the wonderful women who make up our community.
