A Big Thank You and an Exciting Year Ahead – A Note from Melanie Malcolm

As we head into the bank holiday weekend, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
It’s been an incredible start to the year since we re-launched Yorkshire Ladies Links, and I’m honestly so grateful for the support, encouragement, and energy from everyone who’s joined us so far. Whether you’ve come along to one of our events, signed up as a member, supported us behind the scenes, or simply shared kind words — thank you. It’s meant so much.
Here’s a little round-up of what we’ve achieved together already:
In February, we relaunched with The Yorkshire Voices Conference. It was a powerful day filled with connection, emotion, brilliant exhibitors, and inspiring speakers — and I was so proud to celebrate the official launch of Lindsey Burrow's book, Take Care, with so many of you in the room.
In March, we launched our membership community, and already over 60 people have joined us. Seeing that grow has been really special — and it’s only the beginning.
In April, we announced two fantastic events, both happening at The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate:
• 9th May – Members Drinks & Canapés, kindly sponsored by Classic Lodges Hotels
• 3rd October - Hellomynameis Charity Lunch & Business Showcase — a brilliant chance to come together for a day of recognition and celebration. Enjoy a special keynote from Chris Pointon, hear from 10 inspiring speakers, support local businesses, and help raise funds for a great cause.

Looking ahead to October, our next large-scale event is already in the works. We’re currently inviting applications for guest speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors — but spaces are limited, so do get in touch soon if you'd like to be involved. Whether you're a member or not, everyone is welcome at our events. We’re building a supportive and inclusive space where people across Yorkshire can connect, grow, and thrive — and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
