Located on the iconic Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, the Great Yorkshire Events Centre is an award-winning venue offering a unique combination of flexible event space, outstanding service, and a meaningful charitable mission. Home to The Pavilions, The Halls, and The Grounds, it is one of the most versatile venues in the region.
A Venue for Every Occasion
The Pavilions features 13 pillar-free function rooms, comfortably accommodating up to 450 delegates. It’s an ideal setting for everything from meetings and conferences to weddings, award dinners, and private functions.
For events on a larger scale, The Halls provide expansive space suitable for exhibitions, trade shows, gala dinners, and even indoor funfairs.
With 250 acres of green space, The Grounds are perfect for outdoor events, team building activities, and wellbeing sessions. The site also includes 6km of internal roads, making it ideal for automotive events.
Supporting a Greater Cause
The Great Yorkshire Events Centre is part of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, a registered charity. Profits from every event directly support the charity’s work to promote and advance agriculture and rural industries across Yorkshire and the North of England. Each year, around £500,000 is reinvested into these vital initiatives.
Accessible and Well-Equipped
Accessibility is a key priority. The venue offers level access throughout, disabled parking, and a Changing Places facility in Hall 2. The Wharfe and Calder Rooms also have vehicular access. Hall 1 is one of the largest pillar-free spaces in the North of England. Thousands of complimentary parking spaces and several EV charging points are available on-site.
Quality Catering
Event catering is delivered by two award-winning partners: Kings Catering Company at The Pavilions and CGC Event Caterers at The Halls. Both teams specialise in using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and offer a range of menus, including buffets, BBQs, three-course dinners, and bespoke packages tailored to each event.
