An Audience with Lindsey Burrow: A Powerful Story of Love and Care
The highlight of the morning will be "An Audience with Lindsey Burrow," from 11:00 am to 11:30 am, where Lindsey will discuss her memoir Take Care. This candid conversation, hosted by Christa Ackroyd, will delve into Lindsey’s emotional experience as a caregiver for Rob and her efforts to raise awareness about the impact of MND. Take Care tells the story of love, resilience, and caregiving, touching on Lindsey’s daily challenges as she balanced her NHS job, raised a young family, and supported Rob in his final years. Lindsey’s dedication has helped raise over £15 million for MND charities alongside Leeds Rhinos, Kevin Sinfield, and her late husband.

‘Take Care is a memoir of love, family and never giving up. As well as telling our family story, I want it to highlight the work that so many carers in the UK are doing in the hope that it will give readers and families hope to overcome challenges in their own lives.’ Lindsey Burrow
Following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Lindsey during a special book signing in the main exhibitor area. This intimate moment offers a chance to engage directly with Lindsey, hear more about her inspiring journey, and take home a signed copy of Take Care.
