Charity News from Yorkshire Ladies Links – Supporting Homeless Street Angels

At Yorkshire Ladies Links, we are passionate about supporting charities that make a real difference within our communities, and over the coming months we’ll be sharing more news and updates from our charity partner, Homeless Street Angels.

We are proud to be supporting Homeless Street Angels as the charity partner for two major Yorkshire Ladies Links events we are currently planning, and we can’t wait to work together to help raise awareness and support for the incredible work they do across Yorkshire.

Homeless Street Angels provide vital support to vulnerable people through outreach services, food bank support, and their support centre. As demand for their services continues to rise, so does the need for fundraising and community support.

The charity has shared that they are now taking out double the amount of supplies during their Thursday outreach sessions, and their food bank register has nearly reached 1,000 clients, a clear reflection of the increasing need for their services. As they are not government-funded, every donation and fundraising effort truly makes a difference.

This year, Homeless Street Angels are trying something new and exciting with their latest fundraising challenge, the 5K Inflatable Run at Harewood House on 20th June.

Participants can choose their preferred start time, as the event runs in waves throughout the day, making it a fun and flexible challenge for individuals, friends, families, and teams.
