“From Garden to Bottle”
Dalia Botanique is a Wakefield skincare brand inspired by British botanicals and made for people who love the outdoors. Dalia lives in Hall Green with her other half, several chickens and a rotation of rescued and foster animals!
Creating skincare had been a long time dream for Dalia, her French mum had a great skincare routine and used to take her to the upmarket French pharmacies where she’d get lots of samples of gorgeous luxury products. After losing her sports massage business during Covid, she decided now was her chance and signed up for a Diploma in skincare formulation.
She fell in love with gardening after moving in with her other half and spent hours outdoors planting wild flowers, fruit and vegetable plants and often wondered around some of her local meadows and woodlands, admiring the cottage gardens along the way.

She began to notice that a lot of what she was planting featured in her skincare formulation books and realised that so many British produced ingredients were great for your skin. In addition to this, Dalia noticed how much her skin was changing due to spending so long outdoors, her skin felt a lot drier and was showing signs of sun damage.

Dalia realised there was a market for people like her, outdoor enthusiasts and gardeners. They wanted good fuss free quality skincare. Dalia had also managed to track down several suppliers of UK grown and produced ingredients for her products, including Yorkshire Rhubarb, Pea Peptides and Strawberry extract, all grown in Yorkshire!
Products include cleansers, facial oils, toners, moisturisers, and hand and body products.
Earlier this year, Dalia completed her Level 2 in Skincare and Facials in addition to CPD courses in skin health, fueling her passion to support her customers with skin ageing.
Over time Dalia has built a community of fellow garden, skincare and chicken keeping enthusiasts! She recognised the importance of community building and earlier this year, launched her skincare making workshops starting with teaching people how to make their own cottage garden inspired facial oils, her first workshop sold out and she is now planning more.

Dalia also held talks on skin health to private groups, guiding people through how skin changes as we age and how to keep our skin healthy with a no nonsense, myth busting approach.
