Two inspirational women, Christine Talbot, multi-award-winning television presenter, journalist and host, and Stephanie Hirst, one of the UK’s most loved broadcasting stars, are coming together for a heartfelt conversation at the Yorkshire Voices Conference, Reset and Rise. Honest, moving, and full of courage, this is a session you will remember long after the event ends.

In this special session, Christine Talbot will guide the conversation, drawing out the depth and emotion behind Stephanie’s remarkable story.
Stephanie believes that anything is possible, but for her, the odds were seemingly against her from day one. Raised with love by her parents on a northern council estate during the 80s and 90s, she was bullied, teased and repeatedly told that her childhood dream of working in the radio industry would never come true.
She was also battling a significant internal conflict that threatened to destroy the radio dream and the life she had worked so hard to build. Her story moves from entertaining audiences of millions to facing a painful decision. She could walk away, give up, or believe she could rise from the ashes of a once celebrated career.
This is the inspirational story of how, if you believe it, you can achieve it. With Christine’s thoughtful interviewing style and deep understanding of storytelling, this conversation will be honest, moving and unforgettable.
