At Yorkshire Ladies Links, we are proud to shine a spotlight on the incredible women within our community, and this week, we are delighted to introduce Sue Carter, owner of HQ Hair based in North Leeds.
Sue founded HQ Hair and has proudly led the salon for the past eight years, bringing with her more than 30 years of experience within the hairdressing industry.
Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for her honest approach, professionalism, and genuine care for every client she works with. Sue specialises in helping clients feel confident and supported through a wide range of hair and scalp concerns.

Her focus has always been on delivering honest advice and realistic solutions, ensuring every client feels understood, cared for, and confident throughout their personal hair journey.
Alongside running HQ Hair, Sue has been a valued supporter of Yorkshire Ladies Links since its early beginnings, regularly attending and supporting events over the years.
Most recently, Sue exhibited at the Yorkshire Ladies Links Conference, where she showcased her specialist services and passion for helping women navigate hair and scalp concerns with confidence and education.
